Winter Free School Meal Vouchers and the Household Support Fund

We are pleased to confirm that Peterborough City Council (PCC) will be issuing vouchers to students in receipt of free school meals to cover the Winter holiday period.

The £30 voucher will be sent by e-mail and/or text to the nominated parent/carer by the end of the day on 17th December.  The voucher does not need to be used in a single shopping trip and once claimed will last for at least a year. Please note that all unclaimed vouchers will be withdrawn on 28th January.

If you have not received your voucher by the end of the day on 17th December or have any queries about this scheme, please contact winter.support@cambridgeshire.gov.uk including your child’s name, date of birth and school in any correspondence.

PCC understands that there are many families eligible for the Direct Food Voucher Scheme that may need further support. They also know there will be families who don’t meet the necessary criteria but are in need of support.

Details of support in your local area can be found via Household Support Fund - Peterborough City Council  If you are unable to access the information online, you can call your local hub on 0345 045 5219. The team is available Monday – Friday 9am-5pm.
